I found my way to joy and feeling genuinely good again—waking up with energy and enthusiasm for living, free from physical pain, relentless self-judgment, and years of self-loathing. I cleared decades of accumulated toxins from my system and learned how to heal my body at the cellular level by tuning in instead of overriding.

When My Body Got Louder
The plateau
After losing a couple of hundred pounds and hitting a plateau for quite a few years, I figured that this must be the way it was going to be, and I was destined to hover around the 300-pound mark. I told myself that this must be my lot in life.
My body's warning signs
As I continued eating foods that didn't support my health, my body increasingly sent signals like pain, stiffness, mental fog, and many other symptoms. I realized that if I didn't make changes, I was on the path to serious health problems from the warning signs my body was giving me, so I stopped ignoring them and trying to control everything.
I found intermittent fasting
I dove into learning about hormones and women's bodies, discovering how intermittent fasting, keto, and carnivore eating could heal our bodies while providing mental clarity and other benefits. This time was different - with listening and partneringwith my body instead of forcing another program on it.
