Your Body's Secret Superpower

I used to believe my body was a problem to solve.
Exercise? Punishment. Fun? "After everything else." Pleasure? Selfish.
Sound familiar?
My body kept whispering: I want to play.
A happy body thrives.
Want to know one thing that made me ridiculously happy this week? I spent five hours of solid cleaning, moving heavy furniture, and organizing. I know, I know — not exactly what you'd expect me to say!
I'm totally celebrating that I've strengthened my body so I can do four hours of heavy physical activity without getting shaky or weak. That's a huge improvement from where I was a couple of years ago, when walking to the restroom exhausted me—and having things clean and organized? It genuinely lights me up to see things go from dirty and chaotic to spacious and sparkling! That's one form of JOY for me. Dancing in my kitchen to a '90s song is another! Your joy doesn't have to look like anyone else's.
Now I'm curious:
What's one fun thing your body would love to do today?
Maybe it's something like: – A walk outside. – A phone call with a friend who makes you laugh. – Singing at the top of your lungs in the car. – Snuggling with your dog. – Moving your body in a way that feels GOOD (not "should").
Your body is designed for pleasure. Joy is medicine for the soul. Fun heals.
Hit reply and tell me what your body loves — I love hearing from you.
Cheering for you, Betsy
